Belvoir Fruit Farms - The Fruit Juice You Should Start Drinking!
Tuesday, September 29, 2015
With the heat and the haze, there can be no better respite than:
1. Breathing through your nose without your mask,
2. Air-con, and of course,
3. A bottle of cold, refreshing juice.
Hailing from the United Kingdom, Belvoir Fruits Farms has been making a natural range of cordials, soft drinks and Pressés. I was introduced to this juices at their media party, and oh man, I was immediately hooked.
Besides their pretty bottle, these pressés from Belvoir Fruit Farms are made from freshly pressed fruits, flowers, spices and sparkling Belvoir spring water. SPRING WATER LEH. You can almost imagine and taste the crispness of their juices made from spring water.
A brand that has been around for more than 30 years, Belvoir Fruit Farms has won multiple Great Taste Awards for their cordials and pressés. This Great Taste Award is like the "Oscars" of the food world, which usually consists of 400 judges judging over 10,000 entries over a period of 49 days. With such intense competition and judging criterias, you know you would not go wrong with their juices and cordials.
Adding to its existing single-serving pressés, there will be 4 new flavours that will be exclusively available in selected restaurants and cafes from October 2015.
The four new refreshing pressés flavours are:
2. Mango & Peach - The Mango & Peach Pressé is a wonderful blend of real mango and peach juices infused with Belvoir’s sparkling spring water. Fabulous over ice, or served with a splash of white rum, Mango & Peach Pressé is fresh, fruity and exotic; it’s like a holiday in a bottle!
3. Summer Fruits - Bubbling with the juices of real summer berries, Summer Fruits Pressé combines the mellow sweetness of strawberry with the subtle sharpness of raspberry and redcurrant juices. It’s naturally refreshing served over ice, or as a base for a super-fruity cocktail.
4. Raspberry Lemonade - Made using real raspberry juice and squeezed lemon juice, the Raspberry Lemonade Pressé provides a balance of fruity and zesty freshness. (I CAN'T WAIT TO TRY THIS)
I got to try the Elderflower & Rose pressé and it was AMAZING. I gave it a #4.5evilbeans on my Instagram:
Besides the great taste, these fruit pressé contains the 3 "No's":
(Evilbean is obviously a K-Pop fan)
Do ignore the Evilbean if you are not a K-Pop fanatic. However, if you listen to K-Pop, you should get the gif joke :D
Anyways. The juices of Belvoir Fruit Farms contains:
What you get out of each bottle of these fruit pressé is 100% good, nothing that is artificial. They are also organic, vegan, gluten and GMO-free. Now who is up for some guilt free drinks?
These new pressé flavours will be available exclusively at selected restaurants and cafés from October 2015, and Rabbit Carrot Gun is one of them.
Besides having the opportunity to try out the new Elderflower & Rose pressés flavour at the cafe, we were also treated to some of Rabbit Carrot Gun's in-house specials.
Quiche Lorraine
This Quiche Lorraine was so good. Pastry lovers will love the buttery flavours and the savoury custard of this dish.
Besides the single serving pressés, Belvoir Fruit Farms also has a range of cordials that are perfect for cocktails, mocktails, and even DESSERTS. YES. In partnership with Belvoir, the people of Rabbit Carrot Gun got creative and infused the cordials into their recipes.
Elderflower & Lime Cheesecake Pots with Wild Flowers
This is their cheesecake that is made with Belvoir Fruit Farms’ Elderflower & Lime. Pretty right? The texture was very creamy and cheesy. I found it a tad too overwhelming, but the rest of them licked the bowl dry.
Mini Pavlova with Belvoir Dark Fruits
The fruit flavours came out nicely from this pavlova - a delicate balance of sweetness and fruitiness in your mouth. I was very impressed with the versatility of the cordials.
If you are interested, you can find an extensive range of food and cocktail recipes on their website http://www.belvoirfruitfarms.co.uk/recipes/ and http://www.belvoirfruitfarms.co.uk/cocktails/. I gotta admit, it's pretty amazing. I didn't know that you can get so creative with their fruit cordials!
